It was confirmed last August 26, 2011 that Jang Geun Seok "Sukkie" (name of JGS that his fans call him) will be starred in a Korean Drama entitled "LOVE RAIN or LOVE RIDES THE RAIN" .

Two days after 24th birthday (August 4th), Sukkie surprised the fans for his TeleVision come back.

He’ll be able to work with Yoon Seok Ho, the director for four-seasons-hallyu-drama (Winter Sonata, Spring Waltz, Autumn Tale, and Summer Scent). On 2011, the director decided to work on another melodrama project after five years of rest. This project was also Jang Geun Seok’s gift for his birthday.

Again, the title of the drama is based on nature associated with romance ,“Love Rain” or the longer title “Love Rides the Rain”, but this is still not the final title of the drama.

The drama tells is from the two different settings, the 70’s and present day, and Jang Geun Seok will play two characters: the wild but charming photographer on present day, and the romantic artist on 70’s. However, actually the two characters have one similarity, they both are trying to find the true love at their times.

As the planned, the production will be on September 2011 but changes on the production date might be expected if Jang Geun Seok is still busy.
